Columbiana County is located in North East Ohio on the Pennsylvania-West Virginia boarder. East Liverpool (largest city) is
located on the Ohio River. Other cities located in Columbiana County are Salem (2nd largest city), Columbiana, West Point,
New Waterford, East Palistine, Homeworth, Wellsville, Slainville, and Lisbon (County Seat).
Agriculture is the main industry in this county. Southern Columbiana Co is hilly and the northern part is flat.

East Liverpool
East Liverpool is located in southeastern Columbiana county. It boarders both the state of Pennsylvania and the state of
West Virginia along the Ohio River. It is has many hills. East Liverpool used to be a booming town thanks to the pottery industry.
Now, East Liverpool still has some potteries, and is rich in clay, but it is no longer a major industry. East Liverpool (ELO)
is Columbiana County's largest city. The famous Ohio Byway, The Lincoln Highway, passes through the city (and I have two lots
for sale located on it, 946 Lisbon St and Lisbon2). East Liverpool is zoned, and has its own police and fire departments.
It also has its own hospital. It is not far from Mountaineer Horse Racing and Casino in WVA. ELO is zoned.
Salem Heights
Salem Heights is located in Perry Township on the west side of Salem (going towards Alliance from Salem on SR 62). It is a
flat area near the Mahoning County boarder. Salem Heights is zoned.
Perry Township
Perry Twp is located around the city of Salem. At one time half of Perry TWP was Mahoning County, 1/4 Goshen TWP, 1/4 Green
TWP, 1/4 Salem TWP, and 1/4 Butler TWP. Perry Twp has their own police dept and fire department. Perry Township is zoned.
Columbiana (City)
Columbiana is located in northeast Columbiana County and southeast Mahoning County. The land is flat. Columbiana is zoned
and has its own police and fire departments.
West Point
West Point is located in south central Columbiana County. Beaver Local Middle School is located in WP. West Point is a one
red light crossroads with a post office. It is not zoned.
Unity Township
Unity Twp is located in extreme northeast Columbiana County on the PA Mahoning Co border. New Waterford and East Palestine
are located inside this township. Unity Twp is not zoned. The land is rolling to flat.
Washington Township
Located in the southwestern corner of the county. Salineville is located in this township. This township is not zoned. Land
here is very rolling.
